rock-alias came, n i went. gab n azad were the opening band. they played really well i must say, but perhaps the organizers of the event shoulda picked a better club/pub/lounge. lol. ok the organizers were jin's brothers, or at least they had a part to play in the organizing. well the one-for-one promo was a good one, just that it really would've been better if they served better drinks rather than just bourbon coke n vodka lime. anyway i did have a good time there catching up with jin n a lil with gab. ok maybe not so much with gab, but more with jin. hah. as jin said, gab's originals were better than his covers, n well, i think ive gotta agree. depending on how u look at that statement, it could either be a compliment or criticism, i'd take the former, lol. ok ok honesty's the best policy, n well since it is the christmas period, n if u cant even be honest during christmas, when else will u be? so in all honesty, gab's original songs are great, n so are his covers, but the originals are better.
ive never written a song, though i would like to. cos to me, writing something from ur own heart, feelings, or thoughts, is what makes the song special. singing a song that's the feelings of someone else just doesnt quite cut out as much emotions as one thats from ur own feelings. ive written many poems from my own emotions n feelings, words that come straight from my heart, depict a picture i can see clearly in my own mind. although i do agree that sometimes a certain song does reflect what goes on inside as well. but a stronger message can be sent from words that are from within urself.

yay the cdc chic called me this afternoon to tell me she managed to get me a test date thats on the 21st this month! lol!
at first she said the earliest was 5th feb 07, it was ok for me, then 5 minutes later she calls me again to say that she has one on 21st this month! woo! steady sial, hopefully this time the tester wont be so bastard to me. *crosses fingers!*
sigh, been relaxing this week, going out to chill, lan, watch movies, etc.. think i need to get a job, otherwise i'll go broke n cant buy myself a new hp! my k750's getting cranky, like what imran said, better get it changed before it really konks out!
been eyeing the w710i by SE, so far from the reviews ive read on forums, its a pretty tight phone thats better than the w810i; which was the phone i wanted to get originally. since im gonna change my phone, might as well get something better by paying a little more aye?
i wanna learn more songs on the guitar! i keep learning songs but i cant seem to remember them that well. that sucks man. shall make good use of my leave n get them stuck in my head so i dont have to refer to the net for chords! lol!
