i fucking hate selfish, self-centered, self-indulgent people who cant comprehend the fucking fact that they can be wrong and are wrong at a particular point of time regarding a particular subject/discussion.
i just cant understand how a person can be so inconsiderate and full of themself that the only thing that registers in that small little thing they like to classfy as a brain is themself.
i cant stand it and its fucking pissing me off.
ok its really been ages n ages since i last updated, and i'm getting really lazy now. ok to be concise, been really busy with uni work thus lazy to update since i hardly have much time to rest. i've told quite a few people already that people were telling me how easy first year in uni is and how much of a breeze it is, yada yada yada. obviously they were being idiots bragging to make a fool out of me. i've been having so many assignments its not even funny anymore man, seriously. ugh.
anyway, i had my sem break that began a fortnight ago n this week uni resumes again. even though my 'break' was two weeks long, it hardly felt anything like it. in june, the winter break felt sooooo long and draggy, but this break really flew by before i could catch it. sigh, i take 4 subjects, out of which 3 gave me assignments to do over the break, and the last subject plonked a test on me next week. -.-
well, i hardly got to play any soccer at all during the break. except for one eventful sunday when i played soccer with adrian and dan at princes park, which is literally next to a cemetary, mind you. anyway, ii quite enjoyed the game with the exception of one idiot that was really rough. he kept pulling my shirt whenever i beat him on the dribble, and his tackles were all fucking late. such that he left me with a bloody knee after sliding me on one occasion. that aside, after the game i was walking with adrian back to him place cos my stuff were there. we came to this junction, the green man came on, so we crossed. and its just an instinct of mine to check before i cross even though i have the right of way. so i saw this 4X4 on our left stop, and we walked on across the centre island. halfway across, i hear an engine, so i look to the left, and i see that 4X4 zooming straight at adrian and me, i grabbed adrian's arm and pulled him backwards, just in time to see the car miss him by CENTIMETRES. i swear on my life i am not exaggerating. i managed to see the driver inside as SHE passed us and adrian and i were cussing our asses off as she sped off. adrian nearly died that day, i swear.
he was really shaken up, and i was on the verge of shitting in my pants. i didnt really want to get to adrian, so i kept joking to take his mind away, but inside i know if he had gotten hit by that car, i would have horrible nightmares of that incident replaying in my mind for the rest of my life. i really prayed and thanked God so much that day. i was even thanking Him as i was driving home!
although i know i've had training as a paramedic, and i could've probably done something to help save adrian's life if he did get hit, i know it'll really scar me for life. the ambrose incident was pretty hard on me already, and i am so immensely grateful that no harm came to either of us.
on a lighter note (well somewhat), i really really wonder how s is doing. reading her blog is worrying man. i just hope she hold's out at least until i'm back in sg, then hopefully we'll hang out some and she'll feel better.
